Regulations Summary

Registration Procedures 

Drivers must register their interest in driving in the series through the registration form on www.hyundainefestival.com
Qualification for the series will be decided using a “Time Attack” format on iRacing, which will be used to determine the rankings for the top rated drivers for the eligible countries.

Participants

The top 2 drivers from each country at the conclusion of pre-qualifying will be invited to compete.
In the event that a driver declines / is unable to participate in the series, then drivers will be invited by virtue of their ranking for each respective country.
A further 4 drivers will be invited by Hyundai, making a total of 30 drivers. These 4 “host invited” drivers are illegible to score country points.

Lucky Dip Stipulations

The second race in each event will feature a ‘Lucky Dip’ stipulation. These will be voted upon from an option of three by members of the Hyundai and Sim Racing Esports community on social media in the week leading up to the event, and the result declared in the drivers’ briefing for each event.

Points structure

The points structure will be as follows:

Drivers will be ranked in the “Drivers’ Championship”, according to how many points they have scored as an individual.

Drivers will also score points for their registered country and countries will be ranked in the “Country Championship”.
